Gary Aspden has built the Spezial line on digging through the parts of the Three Stripes archive nobody else bothers with, and the Halewood SPZL in Rustic Orange is a neat example of that habit — a low, slim terrace shoe named after the Merseyside town.
The upper is soft rustic orange suede throughout, cut low with a slightly padded collar. Navy leather handles the contrast work: the three stripes across the sidewall, the heel patch and the eyestay panel that carries the lacing, with orange laces running through punched eyelets. A matching navy tongue sits behind them. Underneath, a navy midsole with fine vertical ribbing wraps the foot, and a gum toe tip meets the gum outsole below.
The adidas Halewood SPZL in Rustic Orange is expected to release on November 6th at 15:00 UTC for $130 through adidas and select retailers.
