adidas Spezial, the Gary Aspden-curated line that mines the brand's archive for pieces the mainline forgot, returns to one of its own with the Albrecht II SPZL in brown. The original Albrecht SPZL took its cues from the old adidas Leisure range, reworking the Sevilla upper on a Gazelle sole unit, and the sequel keeps that low, understated shape.
Smooth brown leather covers the upper, cut with a moc-toe seam that runs back along the lacing. Dark metal eyelets and matching brown laces keep the tone quiet, while rows of stitching curve across the heel and the lateral side. A padded tongue sits under the lacing, and the whole thing rides on a charcoal grey gum-style sole with a slim foxing stripe.
