adidas Boston SPZL II in Grey and Red
The adidas SPEZIAL line returns to the Boston runner, with the Boston SPZL II arriving in grey and red on November 6th.

SPEZIAL has always worked best in the corners of the adidas archive that the Samba and the Gazelle overshadow, and the Boston runner has been one of Gary Aspden's regular returns. The Boston SPZL II picks that thread back up in a muted grey and red.
The upper pairs a charcoal mesh base with grey suede across the toe, the mudguard and the heel, with a lighter grey panel set into the side wall. The Three Stripes sit in off-white with a slim red outline, a treatment echoed by the small red tab behind them, and the collar and tongue lining lift to a paler grey. Grey laces run through a reinforced eyestay, and the heel carries a white suede counter. Underfoot, the white midsole is blocked with red and deep green at the heel and toe, over a grey outsole.
The adidas Boston SPZL II is expected to release on November 6th at 15:00 UTC for $140 through adidas and select retailers.
