EldenNews accounts
Last updated 16 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-16
EldenNews (eldennews.com) is the news and release site of Elden Monitors. These terms cover EldenNews accounts and the alerts they provide. Reading the site needs no account. The Elden Monitors Privacy Policy and Terms also apply; where the two differ on accounts or alerts, these terms win.
You sign in with Discord. You must be old enough to use Discord where you live, and you are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure. One account per person.
We ask Discord only for your basic profile (the identify permission): your user ID, username, display name and avatar. We never see your password, your messages, your other servers or the email address on your Discord account.
Alerts are available to members of our Discord server, Elden Services. We check your membership automatically: when you sign in, when you press Check again, and for every account every five minutes. A member who has not yet accepted the server rules counts as not yet joined.
If you leave the server, your alerts pause and nothing is deleted. Rejoin and they resume. We may limit how many products one account can follow.
Alerts tell you about a drop date, a restock or a price change for a product you chose. They come from automated monitoring of third-party shops and from our own editorial calendar. Shops change without notice, monitoring can be delayed or wrong, and release dates move.
Alerts are information, provided as is and on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that an alert will arrive, arrive on time, or be accurate, or that a product will be available or at the price shown. We are not a shop. Any purchase is between you and the retailer, on their terms. We are not responsible for a missed release, a failed checkout, or a price that changed.
We send alerts as Discord direct messages from our bot. It messages you only about alerts you turned on, test messages you ask for, and important notices about your account. For DMs to reach you, Discord must allow messages from members of Elden Services. To stop them, turn the alerts off, delete your account, or close your DMs.
Giving us an email address is optional. We keep it for email alerts and news about them once they launch; until then nothing is sent to it. We do not sell it. You can change or remove it on your profile at any time.
We use this only to run your account and send your alerts. It is shared with Discord, so the messages can be delivered, and with the providers that host our services. It stays until you delete your account.
Alerts and pages link to shops. Some of those links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission when you buy through them, at no cost to you.
Do not automate the site or your account, scrape or resell alerts, interfere with the service, or use several accounts to get around limits. We may pause or remove accounts that do, and we may change or end the alert service at any time.
You can delete your account from your profile. It takes effect immediately and removes everything listed in section 7. Your Discord account is not affected.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, accounts or alerts, including missed purchases or price differences. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law where you live that cannot be limited by agreement.
We may update these terms. When a change matters, we will ask you to accept the new version before you turn on new alerts. Questions go to the team in the Elden Services Discord server.
