The Swoosh and the LEGO Group have spent their partnership aiming squarely at kids, and this preschool-sized Nike Force 1 x LEGO® Collection takes that idea into orbit. The silhouette itself dates to 1982, when the Air Force 1 arrived as a basketball shoe, and this is a long way from the plain white pair most people picture.
Smooth white leather covers the upper, stitched in contrasting dark thread so every panel line stands out. The lateral side carries the story: a red Swoosh running across a yellow-and-blue planet, a rocket tail trailing behind it, and a block of small printed text along the midfoot. A red mini-Swoosh sits at the toe, the laces run through a toggle at the throat, and a red pull tab finishes the heel. Underneath, a sail midsole sits over a translucent icy blue outsole.
The Nike Force 1 x LEGO® Collection is expected to release on November 24th at 15:00 UTC for $100 through Nike and select retailers.
