The Kobe 9 arrived in 2014 as the shoe of Kobe Bryant's final seasons in Los Angeles, and the low-top EM version has been the one the Protro program keeps returning to. This pair leans entirely on its graphic: a dense basketweave print running across the toe and quarter in brilliant orange, red and royal blue, bright at the front and cooling toward the rear.
A deep navy panel wraps the heel and collar, carrying Bryant's signature in red along the side. The Swoosh is metallic silver, set over the busiest stretch of the print, with navy laces and a matching navy tongue tab keeping the top half calm. Underneath, a white midsole sits on a translucent icy blue outsole.
The Nike Kobe 9 EM Low Protro is expected to release on November 18th at 15:00 UTC for $200 through Nike and select retailers.
