Nike Air Force 1 Mid '07 GORE-TEX Vibram "Black"

Winter asks more of a shoe than a basketball court ever did, which is the thinking behind the Nike Air Force 1 Mid '07 GORE-TEX Vibram in "Black". Bruce Kilgore's 1982 design was the first Nike basketball shoe to carry Air, and four decades on the Swoosh has rebuilt it for bad weather.

The upper is black leather with a waterproof GORE-TEX finish, the Swoosh picked out in a pebbled texture against the smoother panels around it. A small gold GORE-TEX tab sits on the lateral forefoot, the only break in the blackout, and the mid-cut ankle strap closes over a matching black buckle. Below, the black midsole carries the AF-1 stamp in gold and a Vibram mark at the heel, with a lugged Vibram outsole underneath.

The "Black" Nike Air Force 1 Mid '07 GORE-TEX Vibram is expected to release on November 5th at 15:00 UTC for $180 through Nike and select retailers, in men's sizes.
