College football season has given Nike a reason to revisit one of its strangest basketball shells, and the Air Foamposite Pro "Ohio State" is the Buckeyes' entry in that run. The Foamposite Pro arrived in 1997, splitting from the Foamposite One with a Swoosh laid across the lateral side, and Scottie Pippen put it on the floor early.
This version keeps the moulded shell in clean white, its rippled surface catching light across the panels and ghosted graphics worked into the sides. The Swoosh sits in metallic red with a chrome edge, the one loud note on an otherwise quiet upper, and white laces run up to a padded white collar with a pull tab at the heel. Underneath, a carbon-fibre shank bridges a white midsole and a milky translucent outsole.
The Nike Air Foamposite Pro "Ohio State" is expected to release on November 5th at 15:00 UTC for $250 in men's sizes through Nike and select retailers.
