Nike Air Foamposite Pro "LSU"

College football season has given Nike a reason to revisit one of its strangest silhouettes, and the Air Foamposite Pro "LSU" is the Tigers' entry in the officially licensed run. The model arrived in 1997 as a moulded, one-piece shell built for Scottie Pippen, and nearly three decades on the shape still does most of the talking.

The foam shell comes in university gold with a high-gloss finish, broken up by a faint grid pattern that catches the light across the quarter panel. Purple takes the collar, tongue, heel tab and lace loops, with a purple carbon-fibre style plate wrapping the heel and a gold eyelet at the top of the throat. A white Swoosh sits on the lateral side, a smaller purple one on the toe, and the whole thing rides a purple midsole over a grey outsole.

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro "LSU" is expected to release on November 5th at 15:00 UTC for $250 in men's sizes through Nike and select retailers.
