As back-to-school season approaches, Under Armour is introducing a solution to a growing need among middle school and high school athletes: one bag that can do it all. Today’s student athletes carry more than ever, moving from the first bell to evening practice without the ability to stop at home in between.

That insight inspired the next evolution of Under Armour’s award-winning No Weigh collection with two new silhouettes: the No Weigh Lite and the No Weigh Playmaker. Launching today on UA.com, both styles extend UA’s most advanced backpack technology ever into formats designed specifically for younger athletes and the realities of their everyday routines.

When Under Armour introduced the original No Weigh Backpack last spring, it reimagined how athletes carry, pairing functional design with a patent-pending UA Suspension™ Strap System engineered to feel like nothing while carrying everything. The No Weigh Lite and No Weigh Playmaker bring the same weightless experience into smaller, more versatile formats. Even when fully loaded with textbooks, notebooks, laptops and shoes, auxetic shoulder straps expand and contract to reduce strain and maximize comfort throughout the day.

“Middle school and high school athletes don’t carry less gear just because they’re younger. But most bags haven’t been designed with that in mind. We wanted to bring the No Weigh experience into sizes and formats that better support their needs and how they actually move through their day.”
