The Air Force 1 has spent more than four decades away from the hardwood it was built for in 1982, and the Swoosh's skate arm has now rebuilt it properly for the board. The Nike SB Air Force 1 Low in "Navy" leans on a hairy, broken-in suede upper in a muted dusty blue, cut in the familiar panelling of Bruce Kilgore's original.
Black does the contrast work: a glossy patent Swoosh on the sidewall, a matching patent heel panel with the small Nike badge, and black laces threaded through navy eyelets. The tongue and collar carry the same blue suede, and the whole thing sits on an all-black midsole and outsole that keeps the look grounded.
The "Navy" Nike SB Air Force 1 Low is expected to release on November 13th at 15:00 UTC for $120 in adult sizes through Nike and select retailers.
