Nike's Mind line was built around an idea rather than a sport: footwear designed with neuroscience in mind, using 22 independently moving nodes underfoot to stimulate the sensory receptors in the sole of the foot. The Mind 002 is the sneaker of the family, and it now arrives in a clean white finish that puts the construction front and centre.
The upper is a textured white knit covered in raised dots, running from the toe through the quarter and into a ribbed, sculpted heel. White laces sit on tonal eyestays, a small Swoosh in dark grey marks the forefoot, and a pull loop rises off the heel for easy entry. Underneath, the thick white midsole carries those rounded nodes along its length, tapering down to a low, rolled toe.
The Nike Mind 002 in White is expected to release on November 5th at 15:00 UTC for $145 through Nike and select retailers.
