Kobe Bryant's ties to China produced some of the loudest sneakers of his signature run, and the Kobe 8 "Shanghai Fireworks" sat near the front of that queue. The pair first landed in 2013 as a China exclusive, and it now returns rebuilt as a Protro.
The engineered mesh upper carries the original's exploding firework graphic, streaks of laser orange, cinnabar and yellow bursting across a white base and wrapping the heel. A black Swoosh sits on the lateral side, with Kobe's sheath logo in black at the top of the tongue and a tonal orange heel panel finishing the rear. Orange laces run through the low-cut collar, and the orange midsole rides on a clear outsole.
The Nike Kobe 8 Protro "Shanghai Fireworks" is expected to release on November 11th at 15:00 UTC for $200 in men's sizes through Nike and select retailers.
