Training shoes rarely get the spotlight, but the Flex Control 4 has quietly been one of the Swoosh's steadier gym options, built around a flexible sole with deep grooves that let the foot move naturally through a session. This pair keeps that brief and dresses it in black and navy.
The upper pairs a lightly textured black panel across the midfoot and heel with a ribbed navy toe and a matching navy section at the collar, the vertical lines giving the forefoot its texture. Black laces run through the blacked-out eyestay, and a white Swoosh sits on the sidewall for the only real contrast up top. Underneath, a clean white midsole carries a gum rubber outsole, with a dark traction pad wrapping up at the toe.
The Nike Flex Control 4 is expected to release on November 7th for $70 through Nike and select retailers, in men's sizes.
