Nike's push to drag its early-2000s sport-formal hybrids back into the conversation continues, and the Air Max Dolce in black croc is the dressiest version yet. The Dolce arrived in 2002 as a women's laceless slip-on, a loafer with a running shoe's bones, and this pair leans all the way into that idea.
The upper is glossy croc-embossed leather in black, the scaled texture running across the toe and down the sides. A molded cage wraps the midfoot and heel in a smoother, higher-shine finish, with the stepped-in collar left open and unlaced. Branding stays quiet, tucked at the heel. Underneath, a black foam midsole runs into the exposed heel Air unit with its sculpted stack, finished by a matching black outsole.
The Nike Air Max Dolce "Black" is expected to release on November 4th at 15:00 UTC for $170 in women's sizes through Nike and select retailers.
