Few Air Max models lean as hard on their heel as the 270, and this grey and black pair makes the most of it. The silhouette arrived in 2018 as the first Nike shoe built around an Air unit designed purely for lifestyle wear, drawing its shape from the Air Max 93 and the Air Max 180.
The upper is grey engineered mesh throughout, with a textured, ribbed pattern running across the forefoot and a tonal grey cage wrapping the midfoot and lacing. A black Swoosh sits on the side panel, a black heel counter and pull tab close things out, and small gold lettering marks the heel. Below, a grey midsole runs into the oversized black Air unit at the heel, with a black outsole underneath.
The Nike Air Max 270 in grey and black is expected to release on November 1st at 15:00 UTC for $170 through Nike and select retailers, in men's sizes.
