Jordan Brand is raising the bar for on-court performance with the Triangle, a new basketball shoe that delivers explosive energy return, all-game comfort and total support.

The new low-cut performance basketball silhouette is designed to power today’s game for all positions, at all levels. It features innovation tooled specifically for the rigors and realities of today’s game: helping players compete faster, longer and more effectively.

The Triangle is inspired by how the greats play the game. Its name is a nod to the iconic triangle offense, and just as that offense emphasizes off-ball movement, the Triangle is built to enable all aspects of the game.

With an emphasis on athlete movement and longevity, the design is focused on energy return. Notably, the Triangle stacks two pieces of NIKE, Inc. Zoom innovation, featuring ZoomX foam in the forefoot and Air Zoom in the heel. The dual-cushioning system ensures support for explosive movement while also providing key stability and protection upon return.

“Today’s hoopers, especially youth players, spend longer minutes on the court. When creating a new silhouette, we knew it was crucial to design for that reality, so best-in-class energy return was top of mind,” says Leo Chang, Jordan Senior Creative Director, Basketball & Sport. “The Triangle contains ZoomX and Air Zoom innovation that is unmatched for the performance basketball market. Combining it in this way really ensures that the shoe will power your game on both the offensive and defensive end of the court.”

The sleek, low-profile design brings athletes closer to the court, enabling a reinforced, intuitive court feel. In addition to its Zoom benefits, the Triangle also contains a Cushlon 3.0 carrier, creating a dynamic underfoot that’s soft and responsive.

That combines with an injection-molded shank, which adds midfoot stability. Together, these performance attributes ensure that hoopers are centered and supported through cuts and change of direction, enhancing dynamic, two-way play.

“From the first time I laced up the Triangle and tested it on the court, I was a huge fan,” says Jordan family member Cameron Boozer. “In addition to being a comfortable, supportive ride, it truly gives me a boost on both offense and defense. I feel a real benefit in my game, and it shows in the edge it gives me during play.”

The Triangle contains a carbon-fiber inspired woven upper, which provides standout breathability, strength and stability for hoopers. That cooling factor is crucial for the Triangle’s focus on keeping athletes fresh for all minutes of play.

All the while, a full-length Hart rubber 2.0 herringbone outsole, a hallmark of Jordan Brand basketball shoes, delivers exceptional traction for dominance at both ends of the floor.

“As an athlete, you can tell that every aspect of the Triangle was intentional. The new cushioning system is a game-changer, and it makes for an incredibly responsive shoe,” says Jordan family member Sarah Strong. “It moves with me and with my game.”

Developed through deep athlete insight, the Triangle is built with purpose. Every design detail reflects the pursuit of greatness and honors the legacy of the game’s legends.

The Triangle will be available globally in three colorways — Baltic Blue, Volt and Hyper Punch — starting July 2 at jordan.com and select retail locations.
