adidas Basketball added the Crazy Energy+ to its Crazy line earlier this year, a lightweight performance model built on LIGHTSTRIKE PRO cushioning and carried on court by Stephen Curry. This pair takes that low-cut shape into a burnished copper finish.
The upper is a smooth synthetic shell washed in a metallic copper that darkens to black around the collar, the heel and the toe, with the sheen shifting as the panels curve. Moulded ridges sweep back from the forefoot toward the heel, and the Three Stripes sit low on the lateral side in the same tonal copper, barely raised off the surface. Laces and the slim tongue are black, and the whole thing sits on a black midsole over a dark rubber outsole with flashes of red at the sidewall.
The adidas Crazy Energy+ in black and copper is expected to release on November 7th at 16:00 UTC for $200 through adidas and select retailers.
